近づくとささやかな光を発して対象との距離を図ろうとする微生物の生態を模したインスタレーション。言葉ではない、無意識のコミュニケーションについて、多様な生物との関わりから考察を促す。

This installation imitates the behaviour of microbes which, as you approach, generate tiny amounts of light to estimate their distance from you. The work invites us to think about our relationship with living creatures, and how we may communicate with them through nonverbal, unconscious means.
