研究者でありメディアアーティストの筧康明が主宰する研究室。デジタル技術を媒介して物理世界での体験を拡張・創出するための技術やデザインについて研究を進め、近年は特に物理マテリアル・現象の特性や身体性に注目したインスタレーションやインタフェースを開発・制作する。その成果は、工学・アート・デザイン領域を中心に、Ars Electronica、ICC、YCAM、ACM CHI、UISTなど多くの展覧会、国際会議、アートフェスティバルにて発表され、受賞も多数。
A laboratory supervised by Yasuaki Kakehi who is a researcher and a media artist. He researches technology and design to expand and create the experiences in the physical field through a distal technology, and especially develops and produces the installations or the interfaces paid attention to the feature or embodiment of physical materials and phenomena in recent year. Around the field of engineering, art, and design, the results were shown, on many exhibitions and presentations, festivals in Japan and foreign countries, such as Ars Electronica, ICC, YCAM, ACM CHI、UIST, and he won many awards.
