久保寛子 Hiroko Kubo

1987年広島県生まれ。テキサスクリスチャン大学美術修士課程修了。 先史芸術や民族芸術、文化人類学の学説のリサーチをベースに、身の回りの素材を用いて、農耕と芸術の関係をテーマに作品を制作する。2017年に六甲ミーツアートにて大賞を受賞。主な個展に、「ブリコラージュの女神」（2017,ギャラリーG）、「現代農耕文化の仮面」（2013,広島芸術センター）、主なグループ展に「オソレイズム」（2016,はじまりの美術館）、「瀬戸内国際芸術祭2016」（2016,小豆島三都半島）、「若手女性作家グループ展シリーズ Ascending Art Annual Vol.2 『まつり、まつる』」(2018,スパイラルガーデン)など。 http://hirokokubo.com
Born in Hiroshima in 1987. Completed MFA in Sculpture in Texas Christian University. Has created her works with a theme of relation between agriculture and art, using the materials in her daily life, and which are in the base on researches of theories about prehistoric and folk art and cultural anthropology. Won the Grand Prize at “Rokko Meets Art 2107”. Her main solo exhibitions are “Bricolaged Goddess” (Gallery G, 2017), “Contemporary Agricultural Masks” (Hiroshima Art Center, 2013), and her main group exhibitions are “OSOREISM” (Hajimari Museum, 2016), “Setouchi Triennial 2016” (Mito Peninsula in Shodo Island, 2016),” “Ascending Art Annual vol.2 “matsuri, matsuru,” a series of exhibitions introducing the work of young women artists (Spiral Garden, 2018).
