古くから、息は生物の命を意味し、人間の存在を確かめるものとして作用してきました。 本作品Pneumaは、「息」という儚い現象をシャボン膜と光によって切り取り、その場にいる人の存在を浮かび上がらせます。 体験者はPneumaデバイスにストローを差し込み、シャボン液をつけ、そこに息を吹き込むことによってシャボン玉を作ります。 吹き込まれる息に応じて、Pneumaは闇夜の中に様々な色や明るさの光を灯します。

From old times, breath has meant lives of creatures and acted on what to confirm an existence of human beings. This work, Pneuma removes a transient phenomenon called "breath" by a film of soap bubble and light and gives an appearance of people there. They put the soap bubble liquid to Pneuma device and breathe in it, then they can make soap bubbles. Pneuma can make various colors and lights by the breath from them in the dark nights.
